THERMO-TRAP CARE
All THERMO-TRAP vents must be cleaned using a mild cleaner or degreaser (e.g., Vim Cream without bleach or an equivalent product). This includes cleaning all louvers, interior and exterior vents, finishing plates, and caulking seals. Lint must be removed from the dryer vent in the spring. A complete cleaning and maintenance of the dryer duct and vent must be performed every fall. The air exchanger intake grille should be inspected regularly to ensure adequate airflow and proper operation of the system.
